The website we have for sale was originally built in September 2015 for Chris Beavis for his Company at the time, Cardiff Electrical Maintenance Ltd. Chris is now employed on site so no longer wants the business in addition as he has family commitments.
As you may well know its a complicated business to make a website rank for such competative terms. The longer a website is online the more authority it builds with the search engines. When we build a website that ranks well, to take it offline would mean it would lose its place on the web and we would have to start over again.
The website has constantly been online in order to retain the ranking, even though we took the email address and phone number off, we still get regular enquiries through the contact form, which at the moment are going to waste.

The overall strategy is to rank on page one for the term ‘electricians cardiff’ but we realised from the outset that this was an almost impossible task given the amount of money competitors are spending to keep their current ranking.
So in addition to this with the help of our copywriter Colin, we devised landing pages which will rank highly and bring business in for more specific terms. We decided on 9 search terms and wrote a page/post for each term. Each page has around 600 words of SEO content. In all the site boasts over 6,000 words of SEO content.
The fixed pages include a 403 word ‘about us’, a Commercial Electricians page which clocks in at 415 words, plus category pages, contact us and a fully customisable home page.
All images on the site are either licensed or open source and are optimised for search.
We have been googling the targeted search terms on the electricians site we have for sale and these are the results we get. Its a personalised search so you probably will get slightly different results from your location, but most of the sub pages rank page 1 and I’m sure you can appreciate with a bit of a makeover this site will be a gold mine.
The website includes Google Analytics, so we can tell you how many people have looked at the site at any given time and what they looked at and where they came from to find us. We will give you access to this information. We will also set up a Google Places if needed and advise on increasing the reach of the site.

The website has not been worked on for over 4 years, since then the underlying wordpress CMS and Divi theme has improved incredibly, we can make this site look really amazing now, but like all good things, the more time and effort spent on it, the better the results.
